1.5 HP single-stage = -62*C @ 225W

It's mine next STRONG Single-stage ..next after that one : http://www.cooling-masters.com/forum/sujet...t-worklog-.html , almost same specs, compressor is exact same model, this time I have finally got -62*C@225W, so 4*C improvement

Specs :

Compressor: HITACHI CHV33YC6-U - it's "tiny" 18000 BTU/ 1.5 HP rotary
evap: steeper 40mm tall/40 mm diammeter
XV: captube 0.8 mm
condenser: 3 row, cooled by one 200mm/230V 5W fan
Refrigerant : R507+R410a blend
Case : Zincked plate 50 x 40 cm baseplate
Others : SLHX - 15mm with 1/4' inside, around 50 cm long

Finally I must change 4x 120mm Delta fans for one 200mm/230v fan with big shroud, becasue that power supply for fans wasn't working OK and damaged Deltas

. Also power switch wasn't working OK, so finally owner has lovely, green button

Insulation on all pipes is 18mm thick

And finally -62*C@225W

. I haven't checked unloaded, but I think it's lower than -70*C

.
